Benefits of having a Luxe Watches warranty

Here at Luxe Watches we understand that watches cost a lot of money and you’ll want to keep them in the best condition possible for as long as you can!

Over the years the complexity of luxury timepieces has become quite incredible but we still believe it’s always worth having some protection in the event that things do go wrong.

And what better way than to take out our extended warranty. That way you can rest assured that you’re covered when you need it most.

We explain more benefits about our warranty here.

Peace of mind

When a timepiece stops working it can cause stress, not to mention the bill to repair it.

If you buy a new watch from an authorised retailer you should expect to receive a factory warranty. However, this does not last for the lifetime of your timepiece.

Every pre-owned watch we sell comes with a 12-month warranty as standard but we do give the offer of an additional year of cover to protect your watch.

The extended warranty we offer ensures protection, meaning your watch is covered from the date of purchase regardless of its age.

And of course, as your watch gets older the policy becomes more valuable.

Watches that have been under warranty or had an extended warranty are much more likely to have been kept well maintained.

What does our extended warranty cover?

Mechanical and manufacturing faults are covered by the Luxe Watches guarantee.

However, if you have an issue that isn’t covered, our team may still be able to offer solutions for the above.

With an extended warranty, you can also take advantage of a cut price polish and watch clean.

How does the warranty claim process work?

To start the process, you should complete this form giving our team as much information as possible about what has gone wrong with the watch.

Our team will be in touch when they receive it and the next step would be to see your watch so that we can thoroughly assess it.

You can either hand deliver your watch if you’re local to our Epping boutique, or you can send it to us via insured post.

If the repair is covered by your warranty, we will have this completed at no cost to yourself.

As soon as we receive the watch we can get the work scheduled in, after making an initial assessment on what needs to be done.

We aim to have all repairs needed complete within six weeks of assessing your timepiece. The work will be authorised by an approved repairer or our appointed watchmaker.

If you do provide incorrect documentation when putting in a warranty claim, we reserve the right to decline your repair.

Exclusions from the Luxe Watches guarantee

As we explained earlier, normal wear and tear of the watch or strap is not included in the warranty, as is damage to the watch or glass, caused by an accident, mishandling or misuse.

Any water damage caused by submersion into levels that do not match the brand manufacturer’s guidelines would also not count as part of the warranty, along with any watches over the value of £50,000.

Things to consider

The use of non-branded components can compromise the technical performance, reliability and waterproofness of your watch.

It’s important to note that if you have modified, made additions or replaced components that have not been authorised by the manufacturer or by us, this will invalidate your warranty.

What if I have no warranty?

Luxe Watches will provide a quote for repairs. Any repairs authorised by Luxe Watches will be supplemented by an additional 12-month warranty.

A reduced price for a polish can be taken up upon your extended warranty cover. Only qualifying watches can take up this offer. This does not apply to non-metal timepieces.
