Celeb Focus: Jennifer Aniston watch collection
Everyone’s favourite friend… Jennifer Aniston is one of America’s best-loved actresses. With major success in TV sitcom Friends and leading roles in – as well as producing – movies such as Murder Mystery, Horrible Bosses and Bruce Almighty to name a few, she’s certainly embraced an incredible run of work through the decades.
As a result, she’s been able to live a life of luxury – and that includes owning a host of enviable watches. And of course, she was married to Brad Pitt, who had his own rival set of Rolexes to compete with Aniston’s collection. Aniston was later in a relationship with John Mayer – also a fan of Rolex.

A fan of Rolex with many adorning her wrist over the years, one favourite which gets worn by Aniston a lot is an 18k yellow gold Day Date. The watch is also popular with US presidents and world leaders.
Jen’s version is actually the men’s 36mm size, which looks deliberately oversized – but we like the look of the three-link bracelet and fluted bezel as it wears just like jewellery.
Rolex Milgauss 116400 (black and green)
While 36mm is quite big for a female wrist, Aniston also owns a 40mm Rolex Milgauss – although hers has been customised with either a DLC (diamond-like carbon) or PVD (physical vapor deposition) coating in matt black.
The watch is built to withstand magnetic fields of up to 1,000 Gauss, showing just how robust it is. Powered by a 3131 calibre, the Milgauss boasts a 48-hour power reserve and while that’s impressive, it’s the flashes of green on the hour markers and seconds hands that we love.
Another key feature of the Rolex Milgauss that distinguishes it from other models in the brand’s catalog is the sapphire. It’s scratch-resistant and unique to the Milgauss. Like the lightning bolt hand, the original model didn’t come equipped with this feature but it appeared in the new version of the Milgauss.
Cartier Roadster W62016V3 (stainless steel)Another favourite of the 52-year-old, is the 30mm Cartier Roadster. This one has a stainless steel case surrounding a silver dial with Roman numerals on a stainless steel bracelet with a folding buckle.
The watch is inspired by sports cars of the 1950s, hence the tonneau-shaped case that recalls the curves of vintage cars.
