In less than two weeks time London’s renowned Saatchi Art Gallery will host Salon QP, the UK’s premier luxury watch fair. One of the highlights of the prestigious event will most certainly be the Loomes Everest online watch auction, which is scheduled for the opening night, Thursday 2nd November 2017 and will be hosted by Bonhams Auctioneers. The auction will feature the very Loomes & Co of Stamford watch worn by Major Dick Gale during his, and his team of Gurkha’s strenuous expedition up the face of Everest earlier this year. The timepiece not only validates the reliability and durability of the British watch design, but also signifies the strength and resilience of man.
