Luxe Watches Confirmed as a Sponsor for the WatchPro Awards 2018!

Since the conception of Luxe Watches in 2011, the team has worked tirelessly to expand our exquisite collection of new and pre-owned wristwatches, and offer unrivalled customer service. Now, seven years on, we’ve given ourselves a well-deserved pat on the back for not only developing a loyal following of clientele (a big thank you to those trusty readers too), but also establishing ourselves as a reputable and highly personable company, which has earned the respect of the international horological community.

This year has been a particularly exciting year, because not only have we welcomed a long list of new and satisfied clients, we’ve also become one of the new sponsors of the much celebrated WatchPro Awards.

“We are really excited and humbled to be sponsoring the WatchPro Awards. It helps to remind us how far we’ve come and how hard we’ve worked to build our business from a watch dealer, brokering one deal at a time, to launching a website and then a retail store,” – Nicholas, Founder of Luxe Watches

What is the WatchPro Awards?

The WatchPro Awards is an event held annually by WatchPro, the UK’s only magazine and website dedicated to the business of making, marketing and selling watches. Each year the country’s horological community comes together to celebrate the successes and achievements of British based watch businesses. Famous retailers, wholesalers and watch brands from across the country will ascend to honour the hard work that is required to support the whopping £2 billion a year industry, and to discuss the industry’s very promising future.

“This event is an incredible opportunity to meet fellow professionals in the industry and share ideas on how to keep the UK riding high in the league of global markets. Moreover, it promotes the success of British businesses to the world, thanks to the global reach of WatchPro.com,” – Rob Cordon, Managing Editor at WatchPro

What does this mean for Luxe Watches?

For many years, dealers of pre-owned luxury wristwatches have experienced a wave of prejudice from the likes of Swiss brands and industry experts. But finally, we have broken the stereotypical image and have proven ourselves to be one of the many dealers of our generation, who provides a first class service and trades luxury wristwatches reputably (believe it or not, we aren’t all Del Boy Trotter’s).

Not only does this new collaboration validate our swift growth and influence as a luxury watch company in Britain, the sponsorship will allow us to go forth and continue forging more connections and contacts in the watch trading community. Plus, we’ve been searching for ways to prove just how much value we can add to this bustling industry, and this seems like a pretty great place to start!

As a newbie supporter of the awards, we will be joining long time sponsors WOLF, LBS, Mondaine and Burton McCall. The awards ceremony will take place in London at a luxurious Victorian ballroom (fitting for the occasion), on Tuesday 6th November. It’s fair to say myself and the Luxe Watches team are extremely excited to attend our first WatchPro Awards ceremony, and cannot wait to applaud this year’s batch of winners.
