That’s exactly what happened with Patek Philippe and Tiffany & Co…

How it all began

The relationship was founded in 1851 with an agreement between the companies that was based on trust and dedication to their craft. The values they shared created an enviable relationship which still stands today, promoting the highest standards of excellence.

In 2001, Patek and Tiffany & Co. celebrated the 150th Anniversary of their partnership with the launch of the ‘T 150’ limited edition timepiece – a unique watch for collectors featuring a complicated movement with annual calendar, moon phases and engraving on the caseback.

Flagship store celebrations

In 2008, Patek Philippe opened its first American boutique at Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue flagship store. The space sold world-renowned timepieces marked Tiffany & Co – the only retailer ever to appear on a Patek watch and the only co-branding it offers today.

To celebrate the fifth year of the store, the two brands teamed up for the 2012 winter season for a set of men’s and women’s watches that grabbed the attention of every watch enthusiast.

Ladies’ reference 4987G

A classic Art Deco style was the inspiration for the ladies’ Gondolo chronograph – reference 4987G. With 164 round diamond accents and 18-carat white gold case, it’s an incredibly elegant watch.

The collaboration offered two dials with both brand’s signatures in either a blue sunburst dial with satin blue strap or a mother-of-pearl dial with a cream satin strap.

Men’s reference 5396G

The men’s annual calendar – an 18-carat white gold chronograph features the date and month in apertures; moon phases and 24-hour indication.

A smart black alligator strap completes to look, while a special note is etched onto the watch – ‘Patek Philippe- A Shared Vision – 2008-2018 –Tiffany & Co.’

 Only 100 of these models were ever made.
