Who’s wearing which watch at Wimbledon?
With Wimbledon swinging into action it’s a great opportunity to do some celeb spotting – and of course, spy out some amazing wristwear.

And there have been a fair few famous faces spotting some rather nice watches so far this year.
Of course, with Rolex the official brand sponsor, there have been a few knocking about, but it’s also been fresh to see some more niche brands on the court and in the crowd, including Soar and Vanguart.
Here are a few of our favourite offerings so far…
Carlos Alcaraz ~ Rolex
He’s won Wimbledon in 2023 and 2024, as well as Roland-Garros in 2024 and 2025 – and he’s the youngest men’s tennis player to win Grand Slam titles on hard court, grass and clay.
Carlos became a Rolex ambassador in 2022 – and we love his Cosmograph Daytona (126518LN) with yellow gold case and black ceramic bezel, an Oysterflex bracelet, and a distinctive turquoise blue lacquered #Tiffany’ dial with black sub-counters.
He has also been spied wearing the now-discontinued Cosmograph Daytona (116519 LN) with an 18 carat yellow-gold case, black Cerachrom bezel, and a meteorite dial when he won Wimbledon in 2023. Carlos also sported a rare platinum Daytona with an ice blue dial and diamond-set bezel for the premiere of his Netflix documentary.
Jannik Sinner ~ Rolex
Currently ranked as the world No. 1 in men’s singles by the ATP, Jannick is the first Italian man to achieve this ranking.
He’s already won three major singles titles – the Australian Open (2024 and 2025) and the US Open (2024) and won the ATP too (2024).
His watch of choice is a Rolex Submariner Date – reference 116610LN, complete with a scratch-proof ceramic bezel. In addition, the model features a 40 mm steel case, a black dial, and an Oystersteel bracelet. It was discontinued in 2021.
Sir David Beckham ~ Tudor
Spotted on Centre Court, Beckham was wearing a bespoke Tudor Black Bay Chrono – a recent gift for his 50th birthday.
The former England forward has been a global brand ambassador for the brand since 2017 but this one looked very bling indeed.
This watch features a minimalist ‘reverse panda’ black lacquer dial, stripped of minute tracks and subdial numerals, for a clean aesthetic. Its most distinctive element is the bezel, uniquely set with two rows of paired round diamonds, extending to the lugs and bracelet links, which, combined with round diamond hour markers, offer a vintage feel.
Sir Gareth Southgate ~ Hublot
Sitting next to Beckham was Sir Gareth Southgate, also sporting a rather nice Hublot Classic Fusion in black and blue. This chronograph comes on a black leather strap.
He’s previously worn a Hublot Big Bang e UEFA Euro 2024 Gen3, which is limited to 100 pieces.
Russell Crowe ~ Rolex
Also among the VIPs was Aussie actor, Russell Crowe who caused quite a stir with his Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ‘Tiffany’ (126518LN).
This watch, with its striking turquoise lacquer dial and 18ct yellow gold case, is a highly sought-after model that has seen its price surge.
With a 40mm Oyster case, this watch features a black monobloc Cerachrom bezel with a moulded tachymetric scale. Cerachrom is a high-tech ceramic developed by Rolex, known for being virtually scratchproof, corrosion-resistant, and unaffected by UV rays – making it perfect for sitting out at Wimbledon.
