I took the time to complete the online valuation process, uploaded various pictures and serial numbers. I received an automated response explaining I would get my “Free” valuation within 2 days. A week later nothing so I emailed them, not even an acknowledgment email or any communication. Waste of time and very unprofessional.

Based on my experience I would not use again . The watch I ordered off the website was not the watch that was delivered. After delivery II was told "unfortunately the one you ordered has been sold". 2 months on, that watch is still on the website. I am still waiting on the correct strap to turn up despite being told " our completions team will sort urgently" Had and no response to an email. I would suggest( based on my experience) if you are buying from Luxe, you go see the watch in person or ask for a video to check it matches the website. I Feel slightly hoodwinked but as my dad would have said "it's a first world problem son" Cheers

I would avoid this firm at all costs. I’ve dealt with Luxe Watches both as a buyer and on consignment, and unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing. I expected a professional and trustworthy relationship. Instead, they have consistently failed to uphold promises, screened and ignored calls, and rarely responded to emails. I also used their service to consign watches, which proved incredibly difficult. Despite repeated follow-ups and clear agreements, they showed poor communication and lack of accountability. When they failed to sell one of my watches, they couldn’t even be bothered to post it back — despite knowing I live a two-hour drive away. This is not the level of service expected from a company positioning itself as a luxury retailer. My experience with Luxe Watches has been defined by unreliability, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism. I would strongly recommend others to proceed with caution.

Came in to the Store to have a look at a few watches and to resize my watch Oliver was very accommodating and advised on how many links I would need to remove depending on what kind of fit I would like. I had such an amazing experience with arif, after searching all around London, Lux watches had the best up to date selection at create pricing. The shop is lovely and highly professional. Highly recommend!!!

Avoid. I received a quote online to sell my watch, called Luxe and confirmed the quote again over the phone (taking pains to describe the fact that it was loose, as I wanted to be clear on the quote). After an hour’s drive, I arrived at the shop and met with Oliver, who told me that he “didn’t realise” the watch had no box and that he was only prepared to pay 75% of what he’d offered. This is despite the fact that I’d indicated this in my quote and confirmed it over the phone. This was clearly a tactic to get people in the shop then knock them down when they’re at an inconvenience. Their quotes cannot be trusted. If you have a watch to sell, use a reputable shop instead rather than these Essex dealers.

We used Luxe Watches for servicing of two of our watches. Although both being close to 40 years old - (the watches - not us🤷‍♂️) they have been returned looking like brand new and we’re very pleased with the service that we received from Oliver at their Epping boutique.

With significant regret, I cannot recommend this company based on my recent purchase experience. The conduct of the store management and the condition of the product were highly unsatisfactory. ​Product Misrepresentation ​I purchased a watch for 23,000 for this company having been advised that it was in "immaculate condition." However, upon closer inspection shortly after leaving the store, a noticeable dent was discovered on the bezel. The existence of this defect was not disclosed at the time of purchase, leading me to conclude that the item was misrepresented regarding its actual condition. ​Unprofessional Sales Tactics ​My initial budget for this investment watch was 15,000. I was strongly pressured by the sales team to exceed this limit and purchase the 23,000 watch, primarily by emphasizing its superior "investment" value. And negative information on the watch I intend to buy. This heavy sales pressure, combined with the subsequent discovery of a defect, has left me feeling misled. ​Refusal of Resolution and Conflicting Policies ​Within 12 hours of the purchase, I contacted the store to report the issue. The Store Manager, Arif, refused to offer a full return, citing a strict "no returns" policy. ​This stance is in direct contradiction to the 14-day return period explicitly advertised on the company's own website. The manager's subsequent conduct, including arrogance during phone calls, refusal to admit me to the store, and threatening to call the police when I arrived…

Put my watch on consignment but however it didn't end up selling after couple of months. Had a slight issue but Arif (Manager) really stepped in and resolved the problem efficiently and with great ease. Sometimes things can go wrong in business but it's great to see some still care enough to make up and ensure you'll come back to them in the future! Will 100% recommend these guys

Incredible service. We are very pleased with the very professional service of Arif and Charlie who acquired the specific watch we were looking for in the time frame they promised. The watch was in the excellent brand new condition. We would love to come back again to buy more watches in future.

It is with a heavy heart that I am posting this negative review about a business I have had a relationship with for nearly 10 years, accumulating a not inconsiderable spend over this period. I wanted to consign a watch for sale with them, but my circumstances changed and within 24 hours I messaged to say I wish to cancel the contract. I was told that to do so I would incur a £450 fee which I accept was what I signed up to, but I expected an element of goodwill and this would be waived for such a long standing, and I thought valued client. After ignoring my messages all day (when previously they replied straight away, when there was something in it for them) they called me back a day later to explain that I could have my watch back, but I had to pay £185 to get it back, citing some spurious costs that had been incurred in the 4-5 working hours that they had my asset for. At this point I decided that it would be best to cut my losses and pay the money. I fully understand there was an agreement in place but to treat a local and long standing customer in this manner is shameful. There are so many watch dealers to buy from, service is basically what differentiates them, and I was let down badly by Arif who acted like I was being done a favour by only paying £185 and not £450. I sincerely doubt that anything was done in 4 hours on a Friday afternoon that they had the watch for but even if it was, it would not have been major, and to charge anything is extremely punitive and dreadfu…

Buying pre-owned watches come with a risk unless you go to the right place. The moment I stepped into their shop, I knew that I made the right decision. Not only is the shop like a boutique from any of the top manufacturer in the watchmaking industry but so is their service. Charlie whom I was communicating via email was present and I was delighted by the lovely Espresso I was given by him before we even sat down to talk about my visit. I bought a Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso which was as described and am very happy with my purchase. I might have paid near premium but I was happy to do so given their 12 month warranty and full service done by their top tier watch maker. Thank you Charlie for making my visit a great one and providing a boutique like experience that the timepiece I bought truly deserved. I must govern the clock, not be governed by it. -Golda Meir

I paid a deposit on a Rolex watch on line. Drove from Cheshire to Luxe in Epping to collect it / have it fitted ( they were very patient with me ). Superb service ended up with me switching to a different Rolex. Highly delighted with the whole experience, and the watch is superb. I will be back, nice people to deal with. Rolex is 3 years old, but would honestly have thought it brand new, cannot ever have been worn.

Strategy is to post fake low prices on their website to lure you in. When you enquire they will make up a story about it selling last week or having a holding deposit, but tell you they can source it which turns out to be more expensive.

Horrendous experience. I do not recommend this store. Avoid at all costs.

Having an okay first experience when buying a used Rolex Daytona (which came with a loose strap) I was promised my next experience would be exceptional. I purchased a 2022 unworn/new Rolex Sky Dweller which unfortunately was sold just before I paid so they searched for a like-for-like model, which was found and pics/videos shared. I agreed to proceed with the sale as the watch they procured was as you'd expect - unworn and new. After paying for the watch it was received 3 days later and to my surprise, they'd sent a 2021 very worn model without notifying me prior to sending it. Excuses were given and no efforts to replace the watch with the correct 2022 model (warranty card was shared in pics so they definitely sent me a different older/cheaper watch). Beware when buying unless you see the watch in store as it appears sales and descriptions of products shared via whatsapp/email are not representative of the item they intend on selling you (to the extent they send you a completely different model one year older).

Purchased a watch from a sales representative Arif/Anthony was sourced the same day and got offered a new model for the same price. The item purchased was lost in transport due to Royal Mail strikes but was reassured by the team at Luxe watches I will receive a replacement or a refund as all watches sold and sent by post was insured. As it was Royal Mail fault for the delays in receiving my watch. I was contacted by the accounts team (Jason) which gave me peace of mind. Thank you again and you will be hearing from me again when I’m ready to purchase another watch.

I contacted Luxe Watches about selling a Rolex watch. Their online valuation tool gave me a price and invited me to send it in for appraisal. I duly sent it via insured post. They then contacted me and informed me this is not a model they wish to sell. I asked why they then gave me a valuation and invited me to send it to them. They blamed it on their software as if that is not something they are responsible for. They do not present themselves as responsible merchants and I would exercise due caution in dealing with them. Since my review Luxe watches have tried to reach out to me and without asking, have sent me a free watch cleaning kit. They are clearly concerned that they upset me and so I am changing my review from 1 star to 4 star. I can not give 5 star because of the problem in the first place, but they have shown themselves to be a courteous retailer. I just think they can make a few changes to their online valuation tool, such as saying do not post any watch to them until you first make phone contact. However we can all learn from our mistakes and I feel Luxe Watches will do this, and I would be happy now to be their customer.

I found that the Gentleman i called first was so polite and professional and was really a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately the Gentleman I spoke to last night was VERY RUDE and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and based on this terrible service I would say avoid and use a company that will have the decency to talk to you with a civil and polite tone.
